Smelting Event Soon?

Is there a possibility of us getting a Smelting event in the near future, ideally with more shard/excess item options to smelt? I just checked my inventory, and I have 16 different shard stacks for various items that I've crafted, and a very large amount of old currencies for previous holiday events. I still have Plinko tokens from the first New Year's Event, for Pete's sake.
The Smelting event we had a couple of weeks ago was quite poor, to say the least. I was given the option to smelt a total of 4 things, 2 of which were full clothing items.

they just had one, so probably will be another 6 months before see again, sad but true. last event didn't have much in way of materials.
