What's the used of MAGIC SOCKETING ROD????

;I have magic socketing rod 40 of them so i upgrade my sockets and putting all level 7 gems on it because just what i read in the notes. That if you upgrade your socketing rod into magic socketing rod it will be more powerful. But i was disappointed when i found, ;that;; it never gives at least even a slight increase of my BR as if nothing happen... SO WHAT\'S THE USED OF MAGIC SOCKETING ROD IF IT DID NOT GIVES A GOOD IMPACT IN YOUR BASE. PLEASE KINDLY TELL US OR MAYBE THIS IS BUGS ????;

It is for socketing Fused Gems(HP+PATK,HP_MATK etc) I think.

Yes it is used t socket fused gems. It does not allow your other gems to be more powerful, it allows you to socket the more powerful fused gems.

Normal socketing rods allows normal gems to be socketed in it, that is gems with only a single stat (PATK, MATK, PDEF, MDEF, AGI, HIT, CRIT, DODGE, END, BLOCK).

Using the magic socketing rods, you are able to upgrade a socket into a magic socket which allows the socketing of a different type of gems, the Fusion Gems. Those are gems that have double stats on them (HP+PATK or DODGE+BLOCK for example). Those special fusion gems can only be used on magic sockets.

Also, each piece of equipment only allows either 1 or 2 (so ive noticed so far) sockets per equip to be enhanced into magic sockets. And yes, they are very useful. Its like have 7 gems in a 6 socket equip.

Yes. Mythic gear can only hold 2 Fusion gems, after upgrading the sockets with magic socketing rods. Imperial equipment, however, can have 3 fusion gems after using magic rods. Details: 1st socket - 20 MSR's, 2nd socket - 60 MSR's, 3rd socket - 120 MSR's. MSR = Magic Socketing Rods.
