I have noticed this a couple of times now and also had problems where it's taken me five or six attempts to beat much lower BR opponents.

I have just attacked TuyeT BR69641k and after my third unsuccessful attack her health went back up from 54% to 64.6% then another attack took it back to 54% again and a further two attempts were required to kill...six in total for someone with BR10m below me.

I have also had recent numerous situations where it's taken me five attempts to beat someone with less than BR60m...surely this can't be correct.

Also in Arena there is a player AresVN with BR38m whom I cannot beat at just under BR80m...how can this be...another bug?

uncheck the quick battle, then watch the battle sequence. i'm sure you will find the answer there
having a higher total BR doesn't guarantee you a sure win. maybe you have a balance team, so you are beaten by a 1-hero carry team which is stronger than each of your heroes.

I appreciate that higher BR doesn't guarantee a win every time, but why did the health go up from 54% to 64.6% and then back down again...that cannot be correct regardless of individual hero strength.

hi loaded,  hi BR does not guarantee that you win, i have 560mill and can beat people with 600mill+ and can lose with people with 400mill.

Yes matey, I appreciate that, but the remaining health % shouldn't rise after an attack and then fall again after the next one...should it?

HP Absorb and HP Regen is the reason your opponent's HP goes up, it really depends if he/she is able to activate it

The 2nd possible reason is that he was using a Lucas, or a hero with artifact armor, or with a minion respawn
this makes it so that if you kill him, he will respawn, sometimes at higher HP than he started with.

For example, he's at 30% HP. You kill him, he respawn at 50% HP and kill you. So he healed 20%

And like stated above, there is lifesteal and passive hp per turn. This comes from numerous sources, artifact helmet,  mythic armor, defensive relics, and pamela's augment7 ability.


As for sometimes rising HP, sometimes falling. It could be due to Moira's +7 immunity skill, respawn like previously said, or a dodging hero such as Pamela.


You should expect to be beaten by players lower BR than you. This doesn't just mean your team is bad
maybe you have a balance team, so you are beaten by a 1-hero carry team which is stronger than each of your heroes.

That is one possibility.
Or for example your moira could have 10k hit, and my Pamela could have 15k dodge, you would never hit me.
Or for example you do an all out attack-agi build, but enemy uses frostrune pillar and oneshots you because of your low HP.

One of my accounts has a 150mil moira that could beat a 270mil main about 70% of the time. Another account I had at a bit higher BR had a pamela, the pamela at 190mil BR still couldn't beat the 270mil main. Sometimes things just counter each other.
The Pamela team however can beat a 280mil Moira, but the moira team cannot beat the 280mil moira
