How to obtain hour glass

I was wondering how do players obtain hour glass? I understand its from special events, but how often do these events happen? Just want to make sure its worth saving my diamonds

Dear Player,

As you are aware hourglasses are from special events and so far there have been 2 in the past month where these were obtainable, we do not know exactly when the next event offering them will happen but I expect to see them again in the near future. This is just speculation though.
