World Boss Issue

hi,

can someone please explain how a person can be put into a cool-down type situation WITHOUT hitting any of the bosses?
this has been going on now for over two weeks.

Hi there. It happens when you hit the same time as the person who just killed the boss. This has been reported numerous times. however, this can be avoided by delaying your hit jut a few seconds, or asking the person who kills them to wait a moment to let everyone get a hit.

Sorry, meadowsweet, it happens whether you delay or not.  WB is broken severely and 1) either needs to be fixed or 2) pulled off completely for either a re-write or completely discarded.

WB has been the topic of innumerable complaints and issues over a long period of time.  Responses have varied from "it's too old to fix" to "it is reported" (which means being i_g_n_o_r_e_d).  Yes, we, as players have the option to put up with it or leave the game.  It's a decision see-saw and the more instances of not paying attention to the players only tilts the see-saw to leaving...even for the cashers who fill the coffers of GTA.

In this particular case tho M is correct its down to hitting at the same time as the boss is killed which happens alot on the first one particular.

nyx, my comment was not directed at the mods at all.  I know y'all have lobbied for fixing it and GTA refuses to respect the mods or the players by their refusal.

You are right in your assessment of hitting a "dead" BOSS, however, for the past 2 weeks, I have killed a BOSS each time only to get a blank battle panel up with no exit which causes me to be shutout on the card draw.  That's just not right at all since my kill usually puts me in second place if not first.  This situation is my major cause of frustration for the lack of respect shown by GTA over WB...

It seems to occur possibly due to the other player having a faster net, so it registers their hit just before yours. We sympathize with all the players experiencing this problem, as most of us have experienced the annoyance of it too, and thats why we've reported it and brought it up so often. Unfortunately the changes to WB difficulty seem to not be enough (increase in HP etc).

However I do think that the chance to get hits in, especially for Events Bonus is better than having no chance at all to get those free spin rewards (3 free even if you dont manage a hit). But like nyx said, that at this time its not going to be updated in the way that players want.
