Warmonger Wings Compensation?

So there is a player in our server who did not win, or could not have gotten, the wings from the cross server event yet he has them. He said he got them as a compensation for his battle having an error, he said it took about 10 days but he got them. I have seen him wear them, is that a compensation gift? or is he just hacking/cheating them in?

Dear Player,

I can not say for certain that he did not receive these wings as a compensation nor can we verify that he is cheating as that is between him/her and support. However I can say that during the last 4 realms PvP event there were some errors some players experienced that caused players not to be able to fight and potentially cost some players a chance to win the wings. So yes it is possible it may have been a compensation. Also keep in mind that there is another wing that looks very similar to the warmonger wings.

It was Warmonger, no look alike wings. I was just curious if it were possible for it to be compensation, because if it were then that would be extremely unfair to the people who actually earned those wings by winning. He also would have no chance in winning against the guys that were top 4, he was gonna lose against the guy he was versing against when it "glitched out".

Hello Lyndsey,

As mentioned, there were some errors during the previous cross server event and yes some players were compensated for it. But they only receive compensation after their account had been checked thoroughly by our developers and were given compensation that were most appropriate. He may also have gotten the wing from the older events as well.

However, as Burrito had stated above, we do not know exactly whether he did get compensation or not as that was between him and support. If you still suspect him of cheating and wish to report him, you may do so through our in-game support.
