it seems to be the case that those on merged servers had their characters reset and are upset about so dear devs dont do a bloody merge if you cant do it without resetting everything

The server merges have not yet been completed which is why they will not be able to log into their accounts on their servers. Players are advised to remain patient until it is announced that the merges have been completed.
