I uninstalled the old mini client who worked just fine to try the new one , i installed it and then gave me this error. Even when my antivirus said it has a virus , i turned it off to see if the game works , no result.So now i have no mini client working and i got nowhere  , maybe i even got a virus. So basically i paid money to play the game  , i have no game now and i probably got a virus.You charge so much on those recharges , you should take care of these "little" problems.It works fine on others (Blizzard , Riot , Ubisoft) and they don't charge as much as you do , so don't make just about money , hire more peoples to do the job, you receive the money you charge so at least we should be able to PLAY the game.Sorry for the long message.Good luck on fixing the client.

Hi,
Here you can download the new mini client that runs smoother and have more applications and is easier to all players to use.

Here is the old Mini client to download:

Please remember that for installing both you need to delete your LOA2 folder and then try to install one of them.
If the issue persist it might be a solution to change your antivirus for another one some players had issue in the past with antivirus.

  • How can changing your anti virus be an option? If it's a freebie,then maybe. What about those trhat have a paid for anti virus. Just keep on changing/spending until you find one that works?

This is a MS Visual-problem. The missing DLL-file is installed with a Windows update. To resolve this issue, simply download and install the Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows from Microsoft. After that is installed, try starting the new mc again.

mcandy is right. this is not a problem with the client, but a windows problem and the runtime.
