Why in honor of the new year in China, we have not launched the festive event?

Dear nskomuz,

Unfortunately we have no information regarding future events or their schedule. While it might be possible that the Development team already has plans for the Chinese New Year, we have not received any information toward this end. Not to worry however, I am sure there will be some great events heading our way in the very near future, with or without a Chinese New Year event

Thank you for your time and have a good day.

Regards

Chinese based games without Chinese biggest celebration event.  great. at least just repeat some kind of balloon anniversary  event or similar. event hosting Chinese event later after celestial .it won't be the same .
did I even hear happy Chinese new year from the dev?
suspect  dev has abandoned us

Dear weisgood999,

I wouldn't be surprised if you were partially right. It is indeed the biggest Chinese celebration holiday and the game staff are Chinese. If I had to guess they are partying like it's the last day of Earth

Jokes aside, one has to remember that this is the Global version of LOD. The Developers might feel it is more appropriate to focus on western holidays, as we have seen through the last months. I think we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, at least not without good reason. We just had what most players consider the best event in LOD's history in December, which was just a couple of months after another epic event, LOD's anniversary. At the end of the day, it is them who decide what events will look like and if they forgo a Chinese New Year event to opt for a Valentines one it doesn't really affect us in the grand scheme of things. Be patient, I am sure they won't just stop making events with a player base of this magnitude.
