Why is capturing opposing lords is too easy?

I being Lv16 player could capture the Lord of a Lv10 nearby player

Lords are an element of the game that takes a lot of time and resources. A higher level player can just have 1 soldier dispatched and have the option of throwing all that effort through a toilet
Also tried with another Lv10 player

If this is not broken please tell me what it is.
(Edit: I forgot to say that no commanders were dispatched as well)

Dear Lord reizelon,

It is easy because your opponent has no troops, which makes him defenseless. It's not broken or bugged. It works just as intended.
