Vacation Mode

I have played a few games where there was an option of enacting Vacation Mode (VM). In games like GoT, it is very handy. Each player is allocated a set amount of Vacation days for any 12 month period, commencing on the day they created the server player. Lets say 20 days for example. Once VM is activated  a truce shell will take effect in 24 hrs time during which time the player can't take part in anything other than gathering resources. This prevents players abusing it by attacking and activating.Once VM is active, the player only has to log back in to cancel it. So if they are away for 10 days, they would have used 10 days of their allotted 20 days VM. The 20 days VM could be extended by purchasing extra days with either diamonds or black diamonds.

Excellent idea! In a related thread, I suggested they might have a process to turn your castle into a "ruin" for a set number of days. You would be disallowed any activity during that period, and you wouldn't be subject to attack.

I like the idea, but i would use a specific button to activate the vacation mode with more precision.

And I'm not sure how the ressource gathering shall work, when one is at vacation mode. Or did you only mean the inner city ressource gathering?
