Server Merge on ub31 PST

Roll call - who is in favor or againsts a merge on ub31 and why?

the person who requested the merge for ub31 said that he wants to have fun and play the game and so should everyone else. What kind of fun is it if free players are trying to compete against mega cashers, never to get anywhere, place decently in events or even win events? That is not fun to me and I can imagine it is the same for everyone else, it's demoralizing at best and makes people leave the game. Most people on ub31 are free players. And just the thought that we could get merged with servers that have more mega cashers on them makes my blood boil. We have enough actives on ub31 to have at least 6 TA teams for the early time slot and at least 1 or 2 for the late time slot. We don't chat a lot in WC but my opinion is that there is always Asgard if you want to chat with people. CS CoM is the real competition, so why mess up a good thing we have going on ub31 for everyone else? ub31 is the most active server I play on. The wishes of the majority of the players should be honored and the majority of ub31 server mates is AGAINST a merge because it is not needed.

I vote NO to a merge, we have a lot of active players, enough so we don't need a merge, that's for sure. A merge only hurts us, more ppl will leave if they know they will never have a chance to win an event. Its hard enough with 1 big casher, don't need any more.

again all about rankings. not players and having fun as its a game but about ranks. so whats the difference between ranks 4-10 ? yes we have alts in at least 2 of those spots. I know you have a bunch of alts of course you will say 3 or 4 but doubt it still more being created everyday on the server. and regardless as to what was said here we are on the list so they been watching it for a bit or had plans way before i said put on the list.

and again ub31 is back at it again after 2 years and half , lol u guys need a chillpill and talk eachother out BEFORE doing things like this .
ranks may not matter to some but it does to some other and before you say im not part of your server think again , I been there when u weren't and helped saving it from falling off the grace with others who I rather stay anonymous .
furthermore I disagree on ub31 getting a merger just because one spender asks for it

smashing, please consider this just for a minute: You are the man of the household and have a wife and kids. Do you make life changing decisions that affect your whole family without talking with your wife and kids about it? I am sure you have a family meeting to discuss any important things with your loved ones. It's the same with our server. We are a family. A merger affects the whole server family. I think the fact that you completely went behind all of our backs to ask for a merge without talking about it with the rest of the server is what really upset me the most. I play on several servers with major cashers. None of the free to play players ever get top 3 in events or ss tycoons. So yes, rankings are important, I would imagine they are important to everyone, not just me. It's fun to get top 3 in an event. You are a mega casher, nobody else on ub31 is. It is demoralizing to never get good rankings in events and with a merge, unless you cash like mad, none of us, your server family, will ever win an event again. I know you are a reasonable guy, you are considerate when it comes to events on ub31 and I very much appreciate that but I KNOW that many other cashers are not like that. I am just trying to explain to you in a respectful way how it will/might be if we get merged and where I am coming from. I hope you take the time to rethink your server request decision and decide what is best for ALL OF US. Thank you.

Jabs i agree in somewhat with what your saying but this is game i don't take it that seriously.  Maybe i should i have thought hey some people this is real life but to me its not.
As for the merge i still want it. yes it might hurt a few players but most of us will be just fine even better for it imo.  as for getting huge cashers, we dont even know which servers we are getting merged with.  not every server has a mega casher in it.  or maybe they have a few real light cashers which really wont affect most on our server.
we could get merged with what one of the mega servers or whatever it is then i would be 5th or 6th on the server which is all good.
we might merged with players that care about CS tycoon more or something like that, they might be maxed on resources that give points in tycoon. ie godsends or things that like that can be maxed. I am close to that and i missed a ton of time.
it really comes down to top 5 or 6 players on the server, hard to find a TA here minus when your here and you help 3 or 4 of us get a TA in.
yes i did not think to much of the ones who been here a few years but have never won anything minus maybe a beach treasure or some event like that.  we are a 6 year old server and yes i dont know everyone or watch everything and i have taken many breaks in the game.  But i have not even seen them in top 20 in say SS tycoon, so to me they are alt and they don't care about ranks. or they play this game so casually that they wont mind if we get one as whats the difference from 40-100 place ?
and my definition of an alt is different than yours.  meaning their main acct may even be on another server even if they one have one character on this one to me its their alt.  as i have one character in HKT to see upcoming events only on but its an alt even though it is the only toon i have there.
I don't think mergers are a bad thing sorry.  look we merged twice without those the server would be real dead without those.  your a great leader for the server and in game, i just do not like that you think i cant have or voice my opinion or need permission for anything.
it is up to the dev's to either say yes or no not me so they must have reasons to merge us. not just hey one person wants it give it to them.  when is the last time a dev ever listened to the players/ player?

my guess and theory in regards to ub31 is this: we have ONE mega casher now, the devs noticed all that cash flow and thought to themselves "hey, let's put more cashers on that server so they all have to spend more". Like always the free players DO NOT MATTER and neither does our opinion. Money talks and has a voice, loyal free players have no voice or input. GTA's greed is going to kill this game with unwarranted, unwanted and forced mergers. I think I hit the nail on the head, didn't I?!
