Setting Alliance relationships (Friendly, Neutra Reply:1| View:335
Hi all,

I feel this idea is so obvious it's probably already been suggested, but I couldn't find a recent thread for it on the forums so here goes;

It would be really cool if alliances could set their status with other alliances (Friendly - Neutral - Hostile, for example).

I think being able to set another alliance to 'Friendly' could be really useful:
For example, changing the colour of their marching arrows (from orange to green), and maybe throwing up a 'Are you sure you want to attack?' warning box if you try and hit a castle or resource node held by a person in that alliance. I don't think it should change any fundamental game mechanics (you should still be able to attack, for example), but it would just be a nice way of implementing alliances or NAP's more effectively (instead of alliances having a note in the Alliance tab, which new players might miss). It would mean the map was a bit clearer (e.g. you can see that the person going to a resource node near you is friendly, by the colour of the arrow, without needing to follow it all the way back to their castle and checking their alliance), and would mean alliance leaders can make it clear to their members who is/is not to be attacked.

I think the ability to set an alliance to 'Hostile' is a bit less important, but it might be of some use - again, it would mean you can easily see if an enemy alliance is active near you (because their arrows would be e.g. red), or if it's another, less hostile alliance which has not been set to Hostile (and who would still have orange arrows).

If this has already been suggested and is currently in progress, or can't be implemented for any reason, feel free to ignore this post - just thought I'd put it forward for consideration!

Thanks
