no sound, since the last update

I haven't had any sound effects since the last update, no sound of armies clashing in elite trials or weirwood, and no sound when I go into the trade ship or events, but the commanders do talk occasionally and say their catch phrases, and there's no music on the desktop app but there is when I use the browser, I can turn it off and on, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, K45, MAKRO
