Castle siege timer changing interval suggestion Reply:3| View:230

My issue is that the current fixed castle siege timer put's it deep into the EU timezone night. Especialy now that many countries have switched to summertime (Daylight saving),  the event , for EU players now takes place at 02.30 -04.00 a.m. I thinks it's obvious that that is somewhat problematic for people with jobs.
In my EU heavy alliance with virtualy no American players ( for them its morning time ) thsi is a serious issue to tackle.

I understand that the community is spread around the globe an no time will ever fitt all timezones, but a solution might be to set the timer in such a way that 1 time the event takes place in say US primetime, and the next round it takes place in Asian primtime and then EU primetime. That way each timezone will have at least 1 time that the CS event falls on a 'easy' time, a second on a acceptable time and the third on a hard time.

As stated. The current Castle sieg event is at a horrendous time for the EU playerbase.

On a side note. Why is the event a weekly event at all ? In my Kingdom things have settled at the moment and the Castle siege don't add any value with regards to gaming experience. They are just a hassel that one has to go through before the 'regular' game activeties can commence.

Hi there!

Very interesting suggestion! I can see how this will greatly benefit players, especially in the EU region. I will highlight this feedback to the developers. Hopefully they will be able to implement this into the game.

Cheers!

Next castle Siege in my kingdom are in 3 hours and 40 minutes = 19.40 GMT = 21.40 Central Europe time.
I dont think Castle siege has ever been a fixed time every week.

Who decides if a kingdom is setled or not at the current moment?
The leading alliances, so they can make sure noone can challenge a castle?

The timer for CS is a perpetual cycle, fixing times would put a lot of people at a disadvantage and benefits always the same people at their dedicated times. International alliances are struggling but juggling to somehow make it work.

That's the challenge of this game, it is the same for CS and other events matter of fact.
