Why is it that I loose my previous title once I convert to another group (and win a title via them)?
If I have participated in a battle to defend a castle and thus earned my title, I should get to keep that title forever.
It is not like I have undone a battle previously won just because I join another group...
No you should not keep the title... take this as an example if the Boltons took the Stark castle of Winterfel the Starks would no longer be the lords of Winterfel it would be the Boltons who would be the new lords. So why would the Starks be lords of Winterfel if they no longer occupy it? If you want your old title back join your old alliance or have your new alliance take that castle.
