No, it isn't the first time that a blueprint item set has been repeated in Check-ins. It isn't even the first time one has been repeated in consecutive months.

Yes, the items can be put into the default blueprint and are almost certainly better than items that most of us have in the default blueprint.

But come on. When we talk about the game limping along to its end because it's apparently not worth the effort to do new things, not bothering to change the blueprint items doesn't help to dispel that notion.

The devs don't always have something new as far as homestead items, so they use what was already given.
This happens every now and then.

That's just a bad take. There are twelve blueprints more advanced than Children's World. I'm not suggesting that they should put Mirkwood on the Check-in calendar today, but I'm also 100% positive that they could deign to put, say, Treasure Dungeon on it.

The problem isn't repetition (even though it is). The problem is repetition that stems from effortless inaction.

This is probably insensitive to the people who started playing on June 30 and really want those items in the Children's World blueprint, but if repetition has to happen, the developers should be out in front of it. Get forum polls out there asking which "classic" blueprint players want to see repeated. I'd be halfway excited about Autumn being on the calendar right now. At least then, I could finish it and actually sell the repeats.

The last time I looked at the number of HS prints in my inventory, they all said cannot sell, so we are stuck with them taking up space in our inventories and on the server databases...<shakes my head in disbelief that there is so little attention paid to technical simplicities that would yield volumes of benefits>

Sadly the issue of useless items that pile up in inventory just keeps getting bigger. Many suggestions were forwarded regarding this problem (for adding sell / smelting option) but so far we have no positive response

So ... am what I meaning on this (and honestly a ton of other things people have brought up about the game) is that the GTArcade Devs just don't care about much?  Reading thru the posts across various forum posts - it sounds like it.

  I didn't really want to get drawn into a conversation where anything I say will come across as 'sticking up for the developers',  but I am required to reply here so guess I am stuck with incurring the wrath of some players no matter what I say...

  Any browser-based ftp MMO like League of Angels (which is fast approaching its 7th anniversary) will have encountered numerous bugs / conflicts along the way. This is especially true with the amount of game updates we have had over the years - most of which work like add-on packs would in a 'bought' game and several of which work like game mods. That is to say that much of the newer content is not 100% compatible with the original game code. It would be a major achievement for everything to work exactly as intended and for all content to be backward and forward compatible even if the original development staff were still working on the project. They aren't. Most browser-based MMOs have a shelf-life of 2-3 years. This one is still around because it is still relatively popular with the players.

  Nothing I have said above means that, as a player, I would not like to see a full team of staff working on the game to keep it updated and bug-free, but I am also realistic. It is very difficult to persuade a browser based game studio to not follow the said pattern of release, upgrade, simmer, close and instead to keep investing in an old game. All we can do (as players and as player-moderators) is to keep forwarding suggestions, keep pushing for improvements / bug-fixes and then see what the developer's do.

When it comes to inventory items, there is a huge risk involved in making everything (or even everything over 1 year old) sellable because the game is still releasing new servers every month so nothing is out-of-date for everyone. Introduce a system where anything can be sold, and you'd create a tide of players accidently selling things by accident - so you'd actually have to have a no-replacement policy and that, I believe, would cause even more distress to players than having some unneeded items in inventory bags...?
