Cannot leave alliance because of event

Trying to leave alliance. Game informs me that quitting an alliance during Alliance Conquest season will erase all my individual elimination and healing points.

Fine.

But, when confirming, it just flashes that half second message, which if I want to read in full, need to screen capture and paste into Paint - "Unable to perform this action, the Alliance is already registered for Alliance Conquest event"

What??? I cannot leave alliance because of some event I do not even participate in? Just delete my points like you said you would.

Is developer related to Kim Jong-un? What's next, only certain types of haircuts will be allowed while playing the game?

The game mechanics have been like this since AC was introduced, which is a bit of time right now. It's just like that because the system needs to count all the alliances powers and stats during the season to match everyone together. So there is a lockdown until the match is over.
