My commanders have measles

A couple of days ago half of my lords acquired the red dot indicating there was some action to take with them but I don't know what it is.
In the "Command" window I can find nothing that needs attending to - they've been through feeding and promotion and hidden skills etc since then and nothing makes the red dot go away.
They don't currently have enough medals or books of wisdom to upgrade quality or awaken.
Somebody on my server said something about weapons though. I did notice that if I hover the mouse over these lords when selecting them for battle it tells me they have NO WEAPON.
When I look at what they have been equipped with in the command window, at least some of them at least DO have weapons, so it cant be the + slots that occasionally need equipping and combining when feeding them.
Also I have already installed a full set of armour from the blacksmith with weapons for main hand and other hand etc.

So what does it mean when it says "no weapon"?

I did notice that the right-most tab in the Command window is titled "Main-Hand" but when I try to enter it says "feature not yet unlocked".

Any ideas?

Dear dr.vajbanger
It should be missing weapons on your commanders. If your commander is lacking a weapon, they will have a red dot appearing next to them. The fix would be to assign a weapon to those specific commanders that need a weapon. But, what is odd is that you cannot enter the Main Hand area. Are you on a new server and perhaps you do not yet have Commander Weapons?
