No - developers require quality control and testing (and are by nature the worst testers). Go up the hierarchy of management where the decisions are made. Not sure if that is done at the parent company Youzu interactive or GTA. They are responsible for seemingly ignoring quality control testing. They ruined LOA1. Hopefully someone else is making the decisions for LOA2. It is a better game IMHO and hopefully it will continue to be.

Developers are not at fault here.

and deployment is tested also before being rolled out.

if it was a development or deployment issue it would have effect all server.

some thing messed up the thing, and since i am from IT also believe it or not, you can test quite a lot, but when things decided to mess up, they sure do.

I totally understand players frustration but kindly understand these kinda things go happen. and while you are free to express you anger, kindly do note that those developers are still in office while it 00:40 currently at there place trying to fix the issue. and some appreciation or understating will go a long way to show them some support for all of there hard work.

  • If u are realy from IT-sector u would never say suach words " but when things decided to mess up, they sure do." It's just shows your weakness as IT specialist. According DEV Team - my oppinion didn't change - Fire them up or al least change 80% of Dev Team with QA, testers and admins... BTW, I'am in IT about 25 years now )

  • if you have been in IT for 25 years then you would have realised it was a networking issue that took down the servers for that hub which the support team fixed in a timely manner and fairly compensated all affected by the problem which in my opinion was the fair and reasonable way to handle the situation

  • All of this for two periodic issues in one day with compensations given for both is a severe over reaction.  This game has supremely skilled complainers.  It's not an inferior product and these issues have not been a pattern for LOA2.  I'm willing to overlook one rather poor day, why aren't you?

if i believe things do not mess up, you just need to check Microsoft presentation of windows 2000

and just to make it clear. i am not saying things can not be improved. we our self have made suggestions etc on how to improve things. and  ya some actions are needed.

All i am saying it, thinking like lets fire everyone coz a deployment messed up are not a way to run any business let alone IT.

Rest everyone have there own opinion and i respect that.

The vote is an exercise in futility.  Everyone that has ever played the game could vote yes, the developers should all be terminated and that would still have no effect.  You are a consumer, they are a seller, if you do not like their product no one is holding a gun to your head.  That being said, to be a successful, profitable business they do need to consider their players in decision making in order to pacify the masses, but revamping their staff isn't going to be one of their concessions.

  • in the infamous words of P.T. Barnum, "a s.ucker is born every minute".  While you can take a stance and not pay any more into the game, others undoubtedly will.  I was sc.rewed by an event as well and was not compensated for the loss their error caused.  At that point I have two options, I can suck it up and move on or quit playing... I'm quite certain GTArcade doesn't care either way.

i do not think they should fire them but a better compensation would be in order. cous people wait for an event delaying their lives for the fun it would provide them and then they dont recive the fun they hoped for and/or have payed for.
I am a vip costumer and when i c a server go down for what ever reason i expect more of a compensation for my time being there hoping it would be fixed in time then some basic compensation they offer. Becous it is not just the missed resources from event it is also the time not alocated to the game when you obviously planed for the game.

If you frak up then add a bonus to compensation!
