Is the rumor true?

I been done searched the forums and didnt see anything on it so i figured i would ask........ I heard rumors of an x-server boss event that will alternate bi-daily on guild boss off days. If this is true do we know when it will start up? also i heard as part of the rumor that the drops where gonna include diamonds, topaz and mythic hero shards. That would be sweet if it is true.... anyhow just wondering what others have heard and how soon we can look forward to it.
