just out of curiousity, I changed my title to 30% HP bonus and ended up getting very strange heals...

Man tra went up to 240k, but Shining W went down to 195k
but with my usual 40% Atk title, Mantr does about 195k while Shining W does 240k heal...

I do not follow the logic of these descriptions vs the in game effect.  As an additional note, these recent values done with only myself and 1 hero vs lvl 100 Thief, so total HP count is vastly different with missing hero.  Doesn't appear to go with that theory of heroes in group so that idea is out the window.

  • at this point, what seems most logical, Mant ra follows HP description fairly close, but Shining Wall seems to be based off of Matk... I'm estimating shining Wall to be near 75% Matk

Confirmed... Shining Wall heal is based off of Matk, or some Atk derivative.

I estimate it to be around 75% Matk + (xxxx) up to 80% Matk... It's not very accurate at this point, but with testing of some other title (to get 0% Atk) vs 10% Atk bonus and 40% Atk bonus titles... I do show significant changes to Shining Wall heal.  changes in Atk did not affect Mant ra, but changes in HP does, so this does follow HP rule.

These findings are not a suggestion to devs.  It is information to anyone who plays Spiritus or might want to play this class.  I read an older article about skills to use which greatly conflicts with the actual game play data.

Devs have made a mistake with the skill description, they can do whatever they want - if they can fix it or not.  Just telling anyone that plays Spiritus how these two skills are greatly different in how they are boosted.

so for me shining 137k for all
M a n tr a is 288k for just me..char HP is 1,8mill
so it seems for me that Ma n t r a    is far better to keep me alive  PLUS it gives 88k+2,3k MATK for 1 turn

  • I've tried a few variations with Light Shock lately, can't seem to compute it's formula but at least it does appear to use HP as base stat.  Although I do not see 25% as being a proper indicator.  With HP very near 1.2 mil, 25% is 300,000 dmg.  But against WB, i do almost 400k dmg yet against a player in BS, I do much less dmg, 225k to a fighter with no Def buffs or Goddess protection. Neither values indicate 25% HP value was used.  At least not without some modifier that doesn't make sense to me.

  • dont forget piercing and ignoring def skills..and others
    i dont have Light shock yet but my atk is low compared to hp. but most spiritus skills based on hp..not matk. if i raise my atk with title and stuff..my hp goes down so the actual heal will be usually less even if i have more atk. there is a point where atk pays off but i estimate it about 500-600k matk. spiritus skills based on hp as you can recognise

  • according to the healing skills they are supposed to be HP based as with Light Shock.  But I have verifiable evidence that Shining Wall is NOT HP based because when I change my titles which concern HP, this skill is unaffected.  But if I change my Matk, Shining Wall will change accordingly.  It could just be that perhaps my character is glitched, but if so, that would be interesting to know.

    I am aware of pierce/harden, but that the major question is how do those values factor?  I am currently under the assumption that they are linear with a 1 to 1 scale.  But I have not fully tested the harden/pierce stats yet.  Still working on priority of broken skills first.

current stats are a bit different now, but when testing:

HP~ 1.2 mil    =  Man tra =  195k    formula  (HP x .16)
MAtk ~ 305k   =   Shining Wall = 240k  real formula ~(Matk x .8)


HP~ 1.5 mil    =  Man tra =  240k    formula  (HP x .16)
MAtk ~ 220k   =   Shining Wall = 195k   formula ~(Matk x .8)

from this set of data, changing HP changes only Man tra, but changing Matk only changes SW.  If the descriptions were correct, my SW should be healing about half of what man tra does.  But with the upper build, I heal more HP with SW, and it's AoE party heal.
