Support is a 2 way street Reply:3| View:462
We as players support the game and the developers by spending money on Monthly cards etc and in return we expect support for a game that is flawed and waisting resources and time of the players. I know it is a National Holiday in China but a lot of the games issues were reported before the holiday and never addressed.

My question is how will the users be reimbursed for lost resources etc during this downtime ?  Is very frustrating and i know the Moderators are helpless to fix anything and are the ones left holding the bag. Even when a support ticket is put in there is never a response at all and makes us users feel like we are only feeding money into a greedy uncaring group. Well support is a 2 way street and ones who used to like this game can very easily let others know just what type of people are running this racket of a "game".

Can I ask a question of you, honestly? Do you know how to look through hundreds of thousands of lines of coding, which creates League of Angels II, in order to look for one or several things which may or may not be acting on the game code to cause a single bug? Do you know how to test coding to see if you've actually found the source of the problem?

It could be a typo, where someone accidentally hit a 0 key instead of a 1 or put an improper command end to the intended coding. It could be that the initial coding which was helping it work got corrupted, and now has to be rewritten in order to be functional. It could be any one of a dozen factors that could require up to a week or more's time in order to fix, and then they have to test the fix in order to make sure that's not going to mess anything else up.

Everyone here seems to think it's as simple as pushing a few buttons. Coding in virtual worlds does not work that way.

  • Hahaha, mckinnon, please don't ask about coding to players/consumers , it will make them headache

They simply want to complain in accordance with their rights because game dev seem didn't work as profesional company and ofc including you and other consumers who are already paid this game had a right to ask.

Well said McKinnon...  As a player first and foremost I understand and appreciate players frustrations but at the same time having made a living out of developing bespoke spreadsheets and databases for multi billion pound engineering projects I also appreciate just how tricky coding is - often you fix one problem only to accidentally create another further down the line...

Its a tricky business for sure and hindsight is 20:20 but we are liaising closely with the development team and players to ensure these things get dealt with in a timely fashion.

Happy gaming

That's pretty funny considering the support tickets I've put in haven't been answered and that has nothing to do with the developers.

As I have said in a previous thread posted here, the developers either lack the intelligence to debug the game enough and/or have testers to ensure as many bugs as possible are squashed, as a programmer myself, it's funny to see how long it's taking for such bugs to be fixed... it's been a week now and still no fix?

A timely fashion is good only when it's within reason for the consumer (I.E us, the players)

I hope the company you work for are going to compensate us well because it's beyond a joke, the length of time it's taking and the support we recieve..
