change the totem evolved

I have lvl 40 fire totems but I want to change it. You lose the evolution
if you inherit the new? I tried searching in the forum but didn\'t find posts about it. TY;

Yes you\'d lose the evolution. If you inherit a lv40 orange fire to a purple healing, you would only receive the exp from that totem. So you would have to make another lv30 purple totem to evolve to a orange
