No need to worry about it, it doesn\'t actually take gold from you. It\'s generated from thin air, so especially early on you might as well let everyone have his slaves. Later on in the game it won\'t really matter tbh

TW, stalk their crops, and if they are married their spouses crops.... while it may not force them to release you it at least gives you some satisfaction and an avenue other than friends to steal from....
