So I was wondering,
Past two rose rankings events and the one right now.
A guild with 6 active members only, gives Floe Hunter to one of its members at the cost of 35,000 Roses.
Same guild gives Witching Cat Fairy I think it was at the cost of 25,000 Roses.
Now my guild wanted to give me the Saintly Angel Wings so that I could complete the bling. Apparently my guildies weren\'t the only ones with the idea.;
Anyway, they have sent me all the roses they\'ve kept all these weeks the others were senting roses to some particular members of their guild. My guild consists of 6 active people aswell. We have an overall of 12 active people on the server and some wierd names that I see sometimes on announcements, I can guess they\'re players who just don\'t log daily, or I can make another guess that I don\'t want to believe it\'d be true. Anyway. I now have 42,300 roses and the other guy from that guild I was talking about has got 52,000 roses.
I know it might be allowed and not prohibited by the rules of the game, but isn\'t it against the spirit of competition having alts sending many roses to your main?
They can\'t be getting first rank in rose rankings wasting an overall of 110,000+ roses in three consecutive Rose Rankings by just the daily ones and maybe recharging once per day. Since there\'s no heavy spender that would buy any roses that is. It\'s a pitty that all the Rose Rankings events are already decided and they never end up with one of my guild winning, unless it\'s some useless item, like the Cerberus Mount we gave another time to some guildie of mine.
I now feel really bad for my guildies trying to help me get the bling done, ending up in wasting all their roses for nothing. Because those guys are definatelly using alts (I am guessing they have about two each one, because they usually have each one their own group for TA) and they just ruin the team spirit and competition in the game like this. It\'s not like I won\'t be able to kick their asses if they give those wings to someone else. They\'re going to lose more than I will, since the two top of the server are in my guild and Cross Server Tournament is coming. Anyway that\'s all folks.

        Well that\'s why Rose is a VIP-only game, basically... alts can\'t do much that way unless they\'re VIP\'ed. Even then they\'ll have to be managed quite well in order to have a significant number of roses to send. Most alts won\'t have VIP at all, so that\'s just 100 roses during an event - no significant impact.

        My guess is you miss the less-active players on the enemy team. In our case that\'s about as many as the actives, and several of them have [had] VIP, so they\'re a significant force in the event.

Also realize that if you\'re slightly outnumbered on that (say 6 to 8), you spending 42k when they spend 52k, means they\'ll not just win, but also keep your roses down for next event. It\'s how our powerblock dominated rose rankings for several months - the other side kept taking second place rather than saving up to take first.

If they consistently beat your team, you\'ll either have to hope for some of them to quit... or decide to stop fighting. By now most Rose events don\'t offer that much of value, so it\'s often more useful to just get some teammates ranked at all.

thats messed up, in our server 1st place has just a bit over 20k roses in most cases. never went over 30k

        My guild went to 65,000 roses during one event. It just depends on how many active users you have.

        Gtarcade despiratly needs to do some server merges to allow some to continue playing.

        geroge how u feel now ? yesterday u said im bitching now u are bi.tching .... is it good when other are screwing you ? u see all comes back .... they are just smarter then u and get advantage because they have alts and get more roses there is nothing wrong here . when server becomes insanly boring u start new char there and just do some stuff in ur free time and somethimes as now u help your self easy ;)

I am not bitching about GTA not giving me free roses. I am just saying I am bothered about how people use alts to get in rankings And I do like the game, no intention in quitting it.

While it may be unfair, theres nothing against the rules about having alts. I myself have a couple of alts that are there to solely for guild donations, and even give roses to guild mates on the occasion. Because it may be a waste to send roses, you should usually wait till last 10 or so minutes to send them if possible. This way you know if you have the necessary amount; to come in 1st and dont have to waste them if you dont have enough.

As I said I don\'t care that much about the wings. In fact if I do what they did I can get them any time. But I wouldn\'t like to get to their level. And I already mentioned it might not be on the rules, I still find it bad manners for the competition amongst rival guilds. That\'s just me though. It\'s different having alts for donations (spamming the shit out of the button) and another thing having them VIP for this purpose.;
All those who hate me for saying my opinion in other threads, I hope you\'ll actually be treated same way by your own guildies, not even other guilds and you lose the rewards last second of the event. Peace.
