Group buy failure

I was opening group buy to pick up the voucher shop items for tycoon and i had just clicked down to the gold to purchase it, the game showed i had clicked out of the diamond section so i went to purchase the gold.; The price on the window reflected that i had clicked on the gold as well when i confirmed the purchase. But then when it took my resources instead it took 500 diamonds and gave me 20 moonbeam wing shards.; I did not want to waste my diamonds on something i wouldnt be able to afford to finish making in the first place.; Any help on this would be appreciated.
