Quick question - Def VS Soul Def

As I understand it one grants +1 PDEF/+2 MDEF and the other +1 MDEF/+2 PDEF but could someone remind me which is which or correct me if I am wrong?

It\'s the other way around. It\'s weird, I know. I tested it via trial & error in the past and just re-did it again to reconfirm it. (waste of coinage but hey, helps the community.)
