CANNOT Abandon Fortress?

So Im trying to abandon the 1 star fortress so we can fight for the 2 star fort later on today, but for some reason it will not let me abandon?; I read somewhere saying I was supposed to abandon it while the 3 star was up for grabs, but I have never done that and its worked like this before?;Keeps telling me Application has not started yet

what you read is correct in order to abandon it must be done on first day of registration which is day pf 3star castle.

Yeah, you can\'t take all three castles in one rush, luckily. That would be very unfair and gamebreaking.;

        This is the second time in not being able to abandon, I am sure its a bug please sort this out please, we are getting short changed here losing out on BIG rewards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
