team tournament is Bull Shit (venting thread)

Well, our server has never had a team go on to the top 64 round even once and our server long predates the release of team tournament, last time we were out by just 1 single ;battle point and we would have gone. ;This time, this happened:

       

        I\'m the team leader of Ethereal. ;

        the 2 teams that went on we beat:



       

        overspenders went on because of 1 match in particular.

       

        so who is team team?



       

        now, I\'m on record a lot saying br doesn\'t mean anything, but we beat overspenders and lost to team, so I clicked the match and:




        It just really sucks to get kicked out when our team had the lowest br and did extremely well against some very powerful teams only to lose a random match at the same time this team decides to put a ton of money in to win a match that i was pretty sure they\'d lose. ;Now we\'re out and 2 teams we defeated move onwards. ;I guess this is me giving up on TT, it\'s just a broken system.

        i\'m still qq\'ing about pst server grouping but we probably would\'ve ended up awkwardly fifth in the younger server group or something anyways so it doesn\'t really matter

        it\'s annoying because I beat qualan in a fight, he couldn\'t have beaten sylver if he didn\'t enter the fight buffed up to 2.3 million hp. ;even with him dodging most of sylver\'s attacks, the boost from those cheers was what won the fight, not qualan\'s dodge or other stats. ;That\'s something that needs fixed. ;I can\'t go into single\'s tourney and pay to boost my stats up to 200%, why is it allowed in team tourney?

        this really isn\'t about qualan\'s team, honestly, i think it\'s awesome they beat quierra\'s team and all, but this can be an issue that anyone can just buy a win, so what\'s the point of even testing builds?  just buy cheers.

        I\'m really upset about being bumped down to this group as well, but yeah I see at least 5-6 teams that made it to knock out due to simply being lucky on a less competitive group. ;Sucks you guys didn\'t make it due to fewer KP.
        To be fair though, looking at your team, aside from yourself the rest of your teammate doesn\'t bring anything to the table, getting to the knockout is fine, but to get any wins there, you\'d need at least a 2nd person who is almost as strong as your strongest. ;Then again in this bracket no matter how good your setup is, you\'d need at least 2mil to beat some of these 2.7mil, and even then a lot of teams have 3mil which you need to feed, and without a 2nd player who can beat those 2.5-2.8mil theres no chance. ;

Oh I didn\'t even see the 205 cheer value rofl.  Explained why qualan herc did so much with such low stats when I was checking after I watched the fight.

I agree with everything you said, issue is without them buying that win on quierra\'s team, we\'d have moved on with wins we earned without just buying them, they bought a win and will most likely just be slaughtered in knockout. ;I mean i beat qualan, not much more to say than that.

Yeah he was in the same bracket as me as well, I only see like 3 teams from my previous bracket here, everyone else is new, which sucks even more. ;I had pretty much all the threat players pretty much memorized, and who I can or cannot beat in preparation for knockout, now back to square one and have to look at all these new players.

        So what does cheering actually do?;; You can easily do inspire for 10 vouchers a pop, for a 20% HP, ATK, and DEF Buff.
