Same game - 2 publishers

Its not uncommon for browser based games to have more than one publisher.

Crystal Saga has several, ChronoTales to name another.

You mean not uncommon for quick money-grab browser games?! Cos normal browser games like ogame or command and conquer have one and only publisher.

Same game - 2 publishers

theres a video up on talking about how chinese browser companies work, its very informative and gives you some great background on how they work.
In China there are a bunch of huge publishers that all the gamers go to, because these publisher companies have millions of people under their belt, so any gamers automatically go to them to have their games published for a high fee. Thus these gaming companies get instant access to millions of potential players at the cost of giving the publishing companies huge percentages of the profits. Some of the biggest companies can get 10 million players a month onto new games.

So browser gaming companies basically give their games to every publishing company they can, in order to make huge profits in the smallest amount of time. The Chinese browser games aren\'t made to be long term, but to be short term and rake in huge profits fast. So in china, its more about the publishing companies than the browser games, since there are dozens, if not hundreds of new games released every month or 2.

They are also not trying to hide it from us or anything. When you do Team Arena it says clearly above the other team if they are from R2Games or GTArcade and what server number that team is from.

Same game - 2 publishers

As far as i\'m aware, there is one and only one developer/publisher, the company with the copyright for the game.

        Youzu.
in china they are operating as Youzu publishing/developing a game known as goddess alliance.
in the united states they are operating as GTArcade publishing/developing a game known as league of angels, based on/translated from the goddess alliance game.
they have also licensed the game to R2games.

this is similar to wartune, which as far as I know, was developed/published by r2games, then licensed to multiple other gaming companies, including just off the top of my head:  kong, Kabam, 321, Aeria, and those 4 are just ones I remember off the top of my head, I know there are a few more I can\'t remember right now.

as hexabyss stated, it has not been hidden in anyway, it clearly shows in team arena what company and what server the team is from.

also access to goddess alliance site by league of angels or us players has not been blocked or restricted, so we can see the original site freely and read it with page translations by bing, google, or another webpage translator.

also, posts about Youzu, have never been removed/edited/deleted from this forum to-date that I am currently aware of, and we have never been told not to post about the original source company/material.

This openness and honesty is rather shocking.  The Chinese in general are very well-known for their privacy and secrecy, and the gaming industry in general has always been incredibly proprietary and secretive with any and all information especially business information.
