draw is a victory in clash of might

In clash of ;might I have had a player challenge me for my spot, the battle ends in a tie (he doesn\'t beat me, and I don\'t defeat him), but he gets a victory and takes my spot. What\'s going on?

it\'s possible the victory parameters for CoM have been replaced with tournament rules, meaning highest damage wins not just defender.

I\'ll have to check battle data again, but I kill his entire team. I even get one kill on him, and he gets his one rebirth.;He kills nobody. He just has shield and dodges most attacks. So if it is highest damage, okay, but from the looks of the interface;it seems wierd.

Yes, that\'s what it looks like, highest damage wins. But here is the problem. He is a hunter and has the shield that has a 25% chance of going up every attack. The shield lasts two turns. Since he is the only one left in his party after the first turn, he gets multiple attacks from my party every turn, which basically means his shield is up the entire battle. So, for me to win, I have to make sure he does less damage, since his shield gives him an unfair advantage. So what I have done is reduce my party to my three strongest toons. It reduces the targets he can attack and so minimizes the damage he causes. I still take out his party. This is how I get a win. Seems wrong to win this way, but that is one way to make it work against someone who has the hunter\'s dragon soul;shield.
