observations on tournament bug

        This is the second tourney so bugged out that comp was provided. before that, all was well for like 8 months at least. maybe a version rollback is needed to wipe out the tweaks that are causing the bug.

        this is the first time i have seen GTA offer comp in the form of diamond refunds for those who spent them. according to acorna post, they can check your account to verify, as long as you ask with all relevant info. it seems to me, that if they can do that manually, some kind of script could do it much faster, and more accurately. hopefully, all affected ask.

        next step would be to take that script and adapt it to any bug that causes any kind of loss, not just a single event or type of resource.

        last step, which should have come first, is to really fix the big bugs now present. database errors, log errors, whatever. quite a few floating around i can understand one error, but not two or three or twenty instances of the same thing.
