Forging ??

Unclear on a couple things ....        I have all the materials to make the necklace, level 76 base

        I believe you need a base gear item ..... should you fully synth, upgrade ... on the base item before forging or does it really matter

        do you even need a base gear item ?

Preferably you should not upgrade it at all. Upgrades become much cheaper after forging it! Rest of it doesn\'t matter. Don\'t synth it though since the synth will disappear. You do need a base gear item though.

        just wanna add some info :

        get normal orange equiptmen, it has 4 slot, put high lv gem ( lv6 gem should be enough ), glyph it , all this step will increase the equiptmen BR that you wanna forge.

        my experience, dont need to upgrade it , you can do upgrade after it become forge gear , like jorian said, it will be much cheaper when you upgrade it.

        So gems and glyphs will add to the base BR of forged item but not upgrades? What about synth?

        dont need synth before you do forge, it wont add BR at all, the most important component to increase BR are high level gem ( lv6 will do ).

        first step : put the high level gem to that equip, and then, u may try to forge it, from my experience, put high level gem is enough to reach proper BR needed to forge.
