        somehow, you managed to clear a few players in Ghost\'s original post very quickly. after some time went by, four were found to have done some serious cheating or hacking. this implies that you have some sort of log that retains player actions in some form. the amount of time it took implies that examination of that log is tedious and time consuming to do manually.

        since computers are our friends, I suggest that some sort of script be developed to do that. not necessarily to auto ban players but to raise a flag or flags for manually checking. I further suggest that this script be applied to some level of the rankings in events that are prone to abuse. CS Tycoon is an obvious first attempt.

        various sporting events are now doing this on a routine basis.

Well, as long as all the cheating is done by gta folks, those logs do exist at least in their heads and checking is very fast. Problem is in how to comunicate such info outside...
