Why won't the game let me use the items in my backpack

I am getting really irritated with the game because I am collecting all kinds of items in my backpack, but the game won\'t let me use them. I wish that someone would tell my why this is, and also how to fix it

        What items do you have? If the bag is full, then you won\'t be able to open chests, but you can free up room by using the bags of silver and wisdom cards.

        You need at least 1 spare slot to synth your gems of to open a weapons chest.

        Have you tried moving some stuff to your stash, and selling unwanted items?

        It would help the Devs if you could post a screenshot of your bag, the items you can\'t use, and leave them your character and server name / number.

        Also, there are some items (sundry items) that are purely there to fulfil jobs then be sold (unrefined tin, vampiric stone, soul pearls)
