Why gta does not in fact have to do anything...

        I dont think I am the only one, who simply got too tired of their general approach and stopped spending - no matter if it took as long as this mess began or it happened sooner. And I think I am not the only one, who cant imagine a situation that would make me spend money again. In fact I think most of those who stopped spending now, wont recharge again ever, because there is no way to proove they dont cheat again and trust is lost.
        Those who didnt stop recharging will continue and newcommers will recharge even before looking into the forum for first time.
        So from bussiness point of view, minding our current experience with gta, there is no reason for them to do anything, just hire a few unscrupulous juniors to make the feel of support as we are used to know.

        But I may get surprised by a fair compensation plan, admitance and deletion of hundreds of seeds that are in the havoc, an inovative trustworthy way for players to chect that new arent created, resonably timed bugfixing and no more lies...

there`s no reason to change anything as long as things are good for them and as u mention there are still plenty of people that spend so yeah i`m kinda sure there won`t be any compensation of any sort , moreover there won`t be even an answer related to this lets call`it issue . eventually people will give up asking for comp or w/e else they ask and either will quit playing or they will continue playing like nothing ever happen . it is what it is

        I will tell you all straight up, I don\'t now, nor have I ever cared about some trinkets GTArcade will cough up as a way to apologize.
        This is a simple case of theft by deception, I am sending all the information I can gather to harm their reputation in the public eye.
        I am also sending everything I can to harm them with some sort of legal consequences. Every agency in the US and abroad will see and decide for themselves if the conduct is criminal.
        Sure if they get fined it won\'t help players that have been harmed, but they will notice that this kind of crap won\'t be tolerated by the western world.

        Sad that I stopped recharging like 1.5 months ago, cause that\'s as far as paypal can go for chargebacks. If you want further you need to get your credit company involved

I won\'t charge them back as it is the third party billing agencies that suffer the most for that. Yeah it will cost GTArcade more to find billing partners, and in some games they have lost the ability to use credit cards at all. In the interim though, you are banned from the game (no big deal) but also banned from the third party billing company so you would be punished if that company is who your next favorite game uses.

I didn\'t see it mentioned anywhere in paypal that my account would be banned. As far as I\'m concerned my chargeback is for a legitimate reason. And if I do get banned, oh well, make new account get new credit card, easy enough.

I am not at all trying to discourage you, if you need to charge back then by all means charge back. It is not the only remedy and if I don\'t use that remedy it means I can pursue others, which is the direction I am heading.

        gt is only required to do 2 things.

        1. since they advertise as free to play, it has to be playable for free
        2. since they offer all manner of in-game currencies and items in exchange for real money, if you pay the real money, they must exchange that per the terms of the offer.

        anything else would be an effort to try to regain some standing with players.
