Big Issue

        I need to know if there is a way to reverse the inactive Guild leader auto-switch function...;; I am a very active player, just recently my pc broke and it isn\'t as easy to login everyday like I want to.; My issue is that my guild was given to someone else and I have put too much hard work into building it up and if I cannot regain leadership over it...; that will be enough to push me to not log back in or play this game anymore.
        I have already asked, nicely even, for the new GL to return my guild to me only to be ignored....;; plz help?!

        not that i know of. your pc must have been broken for an extended period for that to have happened.

        and for the record, it is not your guild. it is your members guild. my main character is a guild leader and serves at the sufferance of the members.

        so take your marbles and go home.

actually holmes, it is mine, I started it and of the 18 lvls it has, 10 were all my gold, the members joined to be a part of and benefit from my hard work...

I didn\'t make them GL, ty, the dumb function gtarcade added took it from me and gave it away on me without my permission.

        GT Arcade professional? there\'s a laugher.

        scroll down about 20 weeks and read the sad tale of somebody who gave guild leadership to someone thought to be a friend. who dissolved the guild in minutes.

        my main has been leader for 6 or 7 months now, and has not missed a single day of logging in. is always willing to help fellow guildies, and in no way considers it his guild. does not measure members by contribution or battle rating, only by their willingness to be a part of a community within a community, and participate on a regular basis.

        I never wanted leadership of my guild, but accepted it when thrust upon me by some nasty events that only a few retain knowledge of. since that time, I have appointed various members to various leadership positions based on their devotion to the game. if I appoint you to DL, and you log in daily, you get to keep it. if you start to slide, an official who has been playing daily moves up. and so on.

        I have let my deputies and officials know that I will willingly stand aside if both deputies or all three officials decide that I am not suited for the leader position. and no, I have not packed the leadership positions. my alt, gamer976 is merely an executive officer through contributions. all leadership positions are filled with people who play regularly and observe the limited rules we have in place. those who slack off on play time get replace by those who play more often, as they are more likely to help younger members just by being available.

        OUR guild has one of the highest participation rates on OUR server. few members are off line for more than a week at a time, and invitations are always extended to newbs who appear from time to time. some of whom have become members of distinction.

        our server has a guild with over 40 members, of which 5 are active. sad. our guild is 50 members. at least 25 are active daily and 40 are active weekly. I barely know half of them, as time zones are a barrier. but if any member of our guild asks a question in my presence, I will endeavor to answer it in any circumstance. even if it negatively impacts my standing as a player.

        you, my acquaintance, do not understand the purpose of a guild. it is not something that YOU created for YOUR benefit. it is something that brings players together with some common bond, however slight, to further their lives and enjoyment of the game.
