Before reading this, take into account the following circumstances: you have not paid any money since you started an account, you joined after January 2015 AND you are not playing on League of Angels: Fire Raiders, the mobile version of this game which has COMPLETELY different tactics.
Many people are constantly asking me, How did you manage to get over 1.2 million HP, almost 300k PATK, and almost 300k Defense in BOTH areas and not paid a single dime or recharged once? I have to explain to each person how I did it, and after a while I figured it was time I shared my secret with the world. This is the Free Player\'s Guide to League of Angels. Now, here are the things to focus on: 1. Gem Type/Level 2. Level Utilization 3. Activity Level 4. PvP vs PvE 5. Taking Advantage of Event 6. Cooperation
Here are the explanations for each one:
1. Gem Type/Level Gems are one of the first places you will focus on when trying to gain a high set of stats quickly. These are gained simply after level 26, when Gemology is first unlocked. Your key is to make sure this order in which you do this helps your character, not hinder it. Each class has its own individual gem setup in order to maintain its strength (I\'ve tested this on three character types across four servers INCLUDING Loralei S1 and Cymonthoe S305): Warrior: HP, PATK, PDEF, MDEF, DODGE Archer: HP, PATK, PDEF, MDEF, CRIT Mage: HP, MATK, PDEF, MDEF, CRIT OR DODGE (Depending on if you want to hit before they hit or make sure they miss)
Now, after setting this up, you want to prioritize which gems you want to focus on. This may be to focus on your health first, or your attack first, or even your dodge/crit first. It really doesn\'t matter, it\'s all up to your personal preference. However, when strategizing how you want your gems to go, there are gems that you don\'t want to have because they waste space: Agility, END, and Block. Why? Agility can be upgraded later, and once you get red equips after level 70+ your agility will skyrocket; endurance is a naturally obtained skillset with the purification of your rings (and if you have enough HP and defense, crits won\'t really matter after a while); and Block is a naturally occurring instance that, if you have high dodge and defense, you will not need.
2. Level Utilization Even if you are a measly level 40, your level is still powerful if you know how to use it. Between level 40 and 60, you have a chance to catch up on your skills, make your gear better, and if you make everything up-to-date on everything from gear to gems to angels, it won\'t matter if you die a few times, you\'ll be able to throw punches at people that are much bigger than you AND land them with ease.
3. Activity Level The reason people think they can go inactive for a few weeks and come back and be just fine is many times they don\'t think they are vulnerable. I learned this the hard way after I left for personal reasons for two months, came back and I had dropped 39 ranks in Clash of Might, never even attempted to get into Domination, and don\'t get me started on the damages that occurred in the Divine Realm. Activity at a medium-to-high level gives you access to diamond events, new heroes and angels, and even holiday events like the ones at Halloween and Christmas. If you are active just enough to pay attention to what is happening now and what will happen in the near future, who knows what your battle rating will be after a while?
4. PvP vs PvE If you think you aren\'t ready for PvP, try alternating between PvP and PvE. Player vs Environment (PvE) is when you\'re attacking NPCs or preset monsters (i.e. Eternal Spire, quests, et cetera). If you feel discouraged in PvP, switch to PvE. Try killing some monsters in the Zodiac or the Eternal Spire. Once you think you\'re ready for more, come back to PvP and start pounding characters into realizing that you\'re a formidable opponent.
5. Taking Advantage of Event There are several events that will help you later on. House of Cards means you get better heroes if you know how to use the cards and use patience (like saving thousands of HoC cards and not using them until you think it\'s the right time). Tycoon means better equipment, sometimes cherubstones, even an angel or mount that will help you later. Djinni\'s Merchant, Loralei\'s Wardrobe, et cetera, will all help you if you know how to manage it. It may take a while, but by God it will be worth it.
6. Cooperation By cooperation, I mean using other people as a means of helping you. Joining a good guild, taking wages, taking part in Team Arena and Team Dungeon, even joining that event that happened in February and March will help you become better. Take it from me: not doing TA means you\'ll be working hard to get those Holy Crystals, and sometimes I\'m just not in the mood to blast away 150 stamina in order to get maybe 2 or 3 holy crystals.
If anyone has any questions or needs help with anything else, feel free to comment to this post. I will answer them as best as I can, and maybe make a more thorough guide for free players to get better stats. This one was whipped up in a short amount of time, and I will make a larger one soon. Hope you have an awesome day or night, and this is sean1209boy (nicknamed Otaku Profiler by friends) wishing you good luck and most enjoyment with League of Angels!
