Moral Boost

Level 88 Sorcerer here, and for a few levels I\'ve come under the impression that Moral Boost, in all events is more often than not, *lowering* my attacks. Damage numbers being lower than without it, more than the additional boosts I usually got from it.;

Yes, I know that attacks have the chance of hitting all the low numbers of the combined percentages, but I—and a couple of my guildmates—have taken note that Moral Boost is nerfing our output more than boosting it. We\'ve gotten tot he point we\'re not using it anymore.

Anyone else noticing this?

Archer Here , on DW my average Dmg start like 80m-120m , and by the end is like 140m-200m , so my experience is positive atleast on DW , on WB i can only tell my minimum seem to improve alot and the max a little .

Been evaluating still, and got to say I hold to my conclusions in the OP… Morale Boost *drops* my performance far more often than it enhances it. So this widdle wabbit will not be using it again.

You\'re looking at it wrong no doubt.; For DW it doubles my damage by the end.; on WB it clearly adds more damage too.;

        I can only say on DW and WB it works fine.
        on Gauntlet? how you guys check it? pull off heroes and gears?
        and i don\'t it is needed in gauntlet for someone, as the last wolves are much weaker than dragons.

        All I know is that without using it, I get a more consistent set of numbers in all events its avail, yet when I use it, and consistently as it refreshes, my damage numbers are nerfed by a good 7% or more. The other strong players in my guild agree with me.

At any rate, I find it better to have a consistent damage rate per attack than hitting a nerf every few. Without it I\'ve gone from 5-6th in WB to 2-3rd.;

        Is worth looking into. Are you using Basic Morale Boosts, or Advanced Morale Boosts? You mentioned you are Mage, what are the Classes of your Guildmates that are also experiencing this?

        I\'m an Archer, and for DW and WB, my Damage Increases with Morale Boosts (Basic, I don\'t Spend for Advanced).

        As for Gauntlet, I\'m not really all too sure about, as I can Kill the Dragons in 2 Hits, and 1-Shot every Wolf, so I\'m not able to be of much Help in determining that.

        Freeplayer here, so *I\'m* talking about Basic, but would love to have input about Advanced as well.

Other guildies are warriors and archers, all feel the same: the numbers on a boosted attack are more *Less* than boosted.

I too can 2-shot dragons and 1-shot wolves and weres in Gauntlet so MBs are mostly useless for me there, but for this evaluation, over a couple weeks I was comparing numbers of boosted vs non for the first shot of each dragon. I tracked the numbers over 5 gauntlets, each time selecting a different dragon to boost against (since all 6 are dead before the boost cds). My results showed depressed attacks while boosted.

        I\'m finding the same for DW and WB.

I reiterated that we\'re finding *most* of the boosts are less than non-boosted, with *actually improved* results less often than helpful. So basically, more consistent attacks without using it.
