Dodge ... Once again

Strategy easily beats dodge.  See any of my previous posts on how dodge is not overpowered.  Plus hit factor given in fusion gems is higher than dodge factor,  angels have abilities to reduce dodge rate, mounts add hut rate, use two plus hit dragonsouls, sands of time is a guarantee hit, heros now have skills with 100% hit...etc.  yes dodge is a pain but there are ways to build your party to combat and defeat it.

Dodge ... Once again

        I know what you can do against it and yes, it is overpowered. The hit from gems is only higher in Dodge+Hit gems. Everything you said about building Hit is invalidated by the massive percentage bonuses Dodge gets. It\'s just easier to build Dodge than Hit and it\'s impossible to build enough Hit on any hero to match the Dodge of a main character.

        Dodge invalidates any hero which does not have a 100% Hit Rate (The ones that do are useless against anything but Dodge) and any skill which is not Sands of Time (Which by the way, is a luck-based skill).

        It\'s a no-risk, high-reward stat which forces the opponent to gimp their entire party or rely on luck. This is all because of the incredibly dumb binary Dodge-Hit formula. You could replace this using kindergarten-level math formulas and end up with a better Dodge-Hit design.

Dodge ... Once again

Dodge is only viable for one or possibly two heroes in a party. And since its not really possible to tank, i.e. force you to attack the high dodge character, its risky to go for high dodge. With an intact rage-loop Sands of Time seems mostly to kill any one remaining dodge hero.

        Its only annoying in Team Arena, where you don\'t have rage flow, and half of the opposition have high dodge. But solved that by having both Yasi and Divine Hunter in Team arena. Works fine.

        I guess one issue is that many players have both Hit and Dodge on the main. I have myself 51k Hit and 40k Dodge (on main). The Dodge mostly being useless in PvP but helps ALOT in Spire/Zodiac/Abyss (I think anyway). If I focused my main would have either alot higher dodge or alot higher hit/atk. If you play a main with a little bit of each (like me) then sure it may be tricky to build enough Hit. But then just make sure one of the Heroes hit instead.

Remark: Sands of Time is NOT luck based. If you have a single enemy remaining and your party is mostly intact, or the rage-loop anyway, it will trigger often enough to get a kill. Someone who focused completely on dodge wont have enough damage output to kill. So you either win or time-out.

Disclaimer: Someone who spent much more resources and simply over-power you might have both higher dodge and sufficient hit/atk to kill. But people who spent more will win regadless of if you change the system or not.

Reposting this from a previous thread......In terms on gems, dodge build gets the following bonus.; Level 11 atk+dodge, dodge+hit, dodge plus block is 690+690+750 = 2130 dodge.; level 11 atk+hit, dodge+hit or crit+hit, agil+hit is 824+824+750 = 2398.; Not including hit v dodge gems as they just cancel each out.; but from fusion alone you get 268 more hit using the same gems.6x 12 hit gems, 5 10 agl+hit, 1 11 agil+hit, 5 11 patk+hits, 1 10 patk+hit, 5 crit+hits im at 59080 hit vs 13405 dodge...swing 4400 dodge to hit on the assumption my dsouls change from dodge to hit...63480 hit and 9005 as my ending stats (w/level 2 enchant ring)6x 12 dodge gems, 5 10 dodge+block, 1 11 dodge+block, 5 11 patk+dodge, 1 10 patk+dodge, 5 dodge+hits and im at 31028 hit vs 58959 dodge( w/level 10 enchant ring)aegis blessing +8% hit(no comparable dodge item), elephant 100% chance for +5.5% hit(no 100% dodge mount increase), varda skill decrease enemy dodge 17%20% dodge halo(no comparable hit), demeter -20% enemy dodge.if im fighting myself here...hit me gets 13.5% to hit and dodge me gets 20% to dodge, 63480 x 1.135 = 72,049 hit vs 58959 x 1.2 = 70,750 dodgeangel skills trigger, 72,049 x .8 = 57639 hit vs 70,750 x .83 = 58,722 dodge

Dodge ... Once again


All the bonuses and stats ultimately work back to the same end number.  Learn to use strategy to beat dodge.  I am saying this as a player for focuses primarily on hit and destroys dodges at or above my level. I should also add the new elemental bonus gives +10% hit and only +5% dodge

Dodge ... Once again

        have you heard/ seen fairies that give dodge stats? cause there is aries that give u about 9k hit for upgrade 60/50 and evolve +6 (mine is upgrade 50, evolve +5 give me almost 5k hit).
        dodge have ring enchant, hit have aries to evolve.

yeah, dodge have ring enchant, hit have ring enchance. Dodge have halo buff hit have aries. and remember that element training give extra 10% for hit, and just 5% for dodge. well now i believe why hit is easier to build.;
