Magic Poker Guide
The basics, winning hands and the amazing prizes that await you.

Another brand new upgrade, packed with quite a few, new features. This time though we are going to focus on the very first to be introduced by this update.

That feature is none other than Magic Poker.

Magic Poker is a card game of chance loosely based on its real world namesake, but with a Magerealm twist and a lot of Hero-related rewards as prizes.

But let’s start with the basics.

To access the Magic Poker interface or pop up window you need to move your mouse cursor to the very top of your screen and at the topmost row of icons.
Then you have to select the second icon from the left.

It will be named Fun Games and display the image of three playing cards and a pair of dice as shown in the image below.

Once clicked upon the Magic Poker interface will pop up, looking exactly as the picture above.

As noted below, there is a wealth of displayed information on how to play Magic Poker.

From the rules that govern the game, to numerical displays which keep track of your progress to your earned rewards and your overall Ranking.

Everything of note has been highlighted to draw your attention to each feature and they will each be presented step by step.
Hitting the Collect Reward red button will give you the prizes earned for playing the game as you reach higher Poker Score totals.

.

Each chest corresponds to a certain score starting with 100 points and going up to a maximum score of 1500.

Underneath that one can find the icons of a Reward chest and a cup with your individual Ranking as displayed in the image to the left.

Once a day you may retrieve your reward corresponding to your Server Ranking. You need to reach 500 points in order to be included in the daily Ranking.

In the image below you can see what rewards correspond to each tier, with the most important reward being Star Vein.

Lastly but certainly of major importance are the rules of Magic Poker.

Let’s go over them one by one.

  •
Players will get 3 attempts daily. Clicking the plus (+) sign next to the attempts used will allow you to purchase additional poker attempts. Do note that each consecutive attempt purchased this way will cost 10 additional diamonds than the one before. For example the fourth attempt will cost 40 diamonds, while the fifth will cost 50, the sixth 60 and so on. There is no limit in how many additional attempts you may purchase.

  •
Each poker game starts by dealing the player 9 cards. You get to create 3 hands composed of 3 cards.

  •
You place each of these hands into one of the three slots available at the lower half of the interface. Each such hand will go against a corresponding hand of the opponent’s. (Will go into placement detail further ahead.)

  •
Each win will grant you Hero related rewards while losses will grant Poker score points.

  •
You get 90 seconds to choose your 3 hands and place them in the appointed 3 Lanes at the table as shown in the image below. If you take too long the system will assign your dealt cards at random for you.

  •
Lastly you are given the winning hands in descending order from the most dominant to the least dominant one as well as the respective winning order of the card suits.

If you are confused about the cards and suits don’t worry we will dwell upon them shortly.
Let’s go over the various cards and suits in the game before explaining the order of winning hands.

        Individual Magic Poker cards are ranked from A (the highest), to K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 (lowest).
Aces can appear both as the highest and lowest value (as if having a value of 1) when part of an A-2-3 Straight or Straight Flush hand.

The Suits upon the cards are used to determine whether a hand forms a flush or straight flush. In Magic Poker suits have a different value with spades (♠) being valued higher than hearts (), which are valued higher than clubs (♣), and finally diamonds ().

Now let’s proceed in explaining the possible winning hands and the roles of suits in them.

  •                                         The best hand is composed by a set of three cards of same value also known as three of a kind.

  •                                         The next best hand is a Straight Flush which is a hand that contains three cards in sequence, all of the same suit, such as J♣ 10♣ 9♣ (a hand that meets the requirements of both a Straight and a Flush). Two such hands are compared by their card that is ranked highest and/or the suit of the cards, following the rules we explained above. Aces can play high or low in straights and straight flushes.

  •                                         The next best hand is a Flush and is a poker hand consisting of 3 cards of the same suit but not in sequence such as Q♣ 7♣ 4♣. If both you and the opponent has a Flush the highest-ranking card of each is compared to determine the winner. If both hands have the same highest card, then the second highest-ranking card is compared, and so on until a difference is found.

  •                                         The next hand in strength is the Straight which contains 3 cards of sequential rank in at least two different suits J♠ 10♠ 9♥. Note that if they were of the same suit then we would be looking at a Straight Flush instead. Two straights are ranked by comparing the highest card of each.

  •                                         The next hand in strength is the Pair that contains three cards, two of which are of the same rank such as 4♥ 4♠ 10♠. Higher-ranking pairs defeat lower-ranking pairs unless they belong to a lower ranking suit.

  •                                         Last and least comes the High Card which is a hand made of any card not meeting any of the requirements we described above. In effect there is no winning combination in it but it might still win if it contains a card of a higher rank and/or suit when compared to the opponent’s hand.

You should by now, know how to play and win a Magic Poker game. Still in case you forget any of this information about winning hands, the Poker interface has a few buttons that light up when the corresponding hand is present in your cards. Very convenient don’t you agree?
In the image above you can see that once the correct sequence of cards appears in our dealt cards the Flush and  Set buttons lit up.We have highlighted the corresponding cards for your convenience.

Once at a similar stage you only need to click upon each card to create the proper sequence or at the corresponding button that has lit up below and then add them to a Lane to create a hand. By clicking ok at your composition of hands the system will compare the hands in each Lane for you and your opponent.

Furthermore as one can see there is the option to organize the cards by suit or rank and a Magic Switch option as displayed in the picture above.

The Magic Switch switches up your cards with winning cards as if you took a peek at your opponent’s hands and chose the winning cards from the deck. Now that makes things a lot less complicated don’t you think? The Magic Switch option costs 50 diamonds to activate.

Here are a few examples of play for you to study:

Keep in mind that at any time by clicking upon the question mark button at the top left corner of the Magic Poker interface, all the additional information we already pointed out will be displayed if you need a quick reminder.

As always in the event of any changes, clarifications or human errors we will update this guide as soon as possible so that you will always be able to enjoy accurate information on your favorite game’s features.

Well what are you waiting for? Get your Poker Face on!!!

Magic Poker Guide

Bit confused in Poker with Extra rewards , how you can get ;4 of a kind; for extra 99 points when in each hand you can put only 3 cards, so max you can get is 3 of a kind. So for what you get such points?
