Change hero shards to tier B, A, S, SS shards Reply:9| View:926

I have heard and honestly can\'t help but agree with the many players that have been expressing dissatisfaction that this means they essentially always have up to 16 stacks of hero shards (if they have reached the upper parts of hard ordeal and thus are getting SS shards too). ;That takes up a lot of bag spaces especially for players that don\'t have very much T level.

I think perhaps that instead of the individual hero shards creating these 4 items would perhaps be a better idea:
- Hero shard (B tier) [Green]
- Hero shard (A tier) [Blue]
- Hero shard (S tier) [Purple]
- Hero shard (SS tier) [Orange]

Then just change any reference to the original named hero cards to the hero shard of the same tier as that hero (Green ranger shards would become Hero shard B for example, and trading for GR would need 15 hero shard B).

Would need a swap event to convert them after but would at least make it only 4 stacks to deal with not 16.

The new ordeal does really bring the need to make this change to a head though as currently it generates far too many shards of different types wasting inventory space which is souring the perception of an otherwise positive change to the ordeal system itself. ;Solving this shards problem I think will allow people to enjoy the greater challenge and greater rewards from the new ordeal more.

Unfortunately there is nothing to stop people just farming badges from the easy or mid ordeals and using them to obtain SS tier heros without working for them in the more challenging ordeals. ;The need to have separate shards for each tier is important to make any system of rewards for the heros work as intended, though there is no logical need to have different shards for each individual hero so they can still be compressed down to improve usability.

Good to see strong support for this from those that have voted and commented so far hopefully if we can get enough support it might help to make the devs realize the value of not ignoring this issue.

Still no willingness on the part of GTA to acknowledge good suggestions that are supported by a 20:1 majority of the players that opted to express their opinion on this issue.

I guess I\'ll ask though I am probably talking to myself here but what precisely is the point in having a suggestion forum if you refuse to engage with good well thought out and well supported suggestions? ;There is little point in requesting suggestions and then failing to engage with them when you receive them, but perhaps someone from GTA could explain their wisdom on this as despite being a successful entrepreneur myself I am completely at a loss to explain the business case for a suggestion forum which is completely ignored.

That\'s a great idea, sera. You have my vote. Bag space isn\'t a massive issue, especially as all slots can be unlocked simply by staying online (overnight helps too) but the streamlining is a nice idea!

Bag slots are more of an issue for free players as the maximum slots your can open is a function of your trade federation (T level). ersonally I have 147 bag and 140 warehouse open due to being T8 so tend not to have major bag space issues but I do feel for free players on this point.

I dislike excessive clutter of items also though makes it awkward to find what you want and keep track of what you actually have when you have to manage 16 different sets of shards that are usable in like 5 different amounts hard to remember what those are for all of them and also not easy to see at a glance which shard is which. ;I am forever having to mouse over them to verify what icon is what.
