        Hello! can any1 explain me the dammage reduction rate?
        if u have divine totem 40% dammage reduction + light envoy skill 25% dammage reduction + son of odin 39% dammage reduction = 104% dammage reduction
        if 100% dammage reduction;it mean you are immune to any atk, but why hero still take million of dammage? Thank you.

dammage reduction

        supposedly it works by a certain order not sure which gets priority, but here is example, first buff effect, 40% redux, so 60% dmg left, now second buff, so 40% more of the 60% dmg left;takes it to 36% dmg, then last buff of 25% redux of the 36% takes it to 27% dmg left. almost impossible to get it to 100% dmg redux.; but can get it pretty small. so in example they are getting 1/4 th the damage, but you throw in crit; hits and other dmg buffs and it will raise some as well.

dammage reduction


Your mathematics absorbs 103% + 5% with Athena\'s worship, 3% with Victoriana\'s worship and 7% with Varda\'s worship = 119%. Assuming you have all these angels, absorbs 119% and yet you take hits, that\'s wrong. Maybe that absorbs reduction in percentage reduce the damage as the resistance to stun which is 1.000/1.000% whereas the rate of stun is 100/100% example; you can have 119% of absorb and damage of the opponent has 1000% of damage = 881% xD

Another example of resistance to stun and stun; My Shaker has a 25% resistance to stun and I was using 2 Fire/Ice/Electro heart for testing a while ago, so 25% + 40% = 65% of resistance to stun against 38% of stun that the galaxy force has, anyway the galaxy stun chance acts as the Shaker had 0%.

        Sounds like what we\'re looking at is multiplicative vs additive buff stacking. Adding is just adding the percents together, which is obviously not what the game does or we\'d have tons of people taking 0 damage all the time.

        From OP example: Divine Totem (40%) + LE (25%) + SoO buff (39%)

        Additive = 40 + 25 + 39 = 104%
        Multiplicative: 0.6 * 0.75 * 0.61 = 0.2745 Damage Taken = 27.45% Damage Taken AKA 72.55% Damage Reduction

        Note: To get the numbers to multiply like such, you have to turn Damage Reduction into Damage Taken as 40% damage reduction is the same thing as saying 60% damage taken thus 0.6 for the math problem, etc.

dammage reduction

        lets say you do normal dmg 1mil then your opponent gets dmg reduction worth of 40% so it takes 400k dmg out of it then LE reduction 25% out of 600k since it all ready had lost 400k with 40% ;so it would be 150k dmg less;
        do dmg is all ready reducted to 450k and once again SoD reduction 39% out of 450k would be 175,5k
        so end dmg would be 274,5k. and so on
