        Wonder how dodge works, there is any guide or somewhere to explain?

        I have 67k dodge rating atm plus bonus,;
        +14% halo = around 9k;
        +19% mount (azure dragon) = around 12k
        My baccus -10% hit to chars
        bacus halo +1740
        So i have like 90k dodge or even more;
        How is possible i was hitted everytime for ppl with 50k hit ;(not talk about ppl with more hit) i only can avoid heros with 30k hit or so.
        It wil be nice to know how it works, because it looks useless atm and maybe its better to quit dodge from stats.

How dodge works?

        Hello statuto, the devs will never answer to you in here. As we were told, devs are there to create the game...we (players) are here to figure it out....yeah I know what you think..I thought the same.
        I looked on the forum to see if I can find anything for you but nothing specific. If you do a search on the forum with the word Dodge you\'ll find so many posts , especially in Strategy section, but since this game adds and adds more features every month at least, there is nothing out there up to date 100% that I can offer you.

How dodge works?

        I will take a stab at it.

        like many combat style computer games, this one has some kind of formula to determine combat outcomes. some are straightforward. like agility. highest total agility goes first. a lot of the rest usually include some random factor that determines the net outcome. way back when, it was called dungeon dice.

        LOA explicitly mentions this in some descriptions. for example, Libra Aegis has 40% chance of increasing crit by 40% for 2 turns. 40% chance means some kind of dice roll(random number thing). Some other features don\'t have such descriptions. Dodge vs Hit is one of them.

        a really simple way to check hit versus dodge would be; if;; Hit/Dodge * random number >; X then it is a hit. lots of ways to calculate it. This one is simple. It does give a low hit attacker a chance to hit a high dodge defender. by the same token, low dodge can sometimes dodge high hit.

        once the hit is determined, other formulas go on to the type of hit, blocked or not, and the damage done. surely you have seen COM battles where you lose and then next time you win. watch both battles some time, from beginning to end. might be able to see what is going on.

        another thing about dodge. rage. lack of getting hit also results in less rage. can impact special skills for you and your heroes. if you have a$$ kicking skill that needs 75 rage, but never get hit, that skill is dormant.

        this probably has nothing to do with LOA but i used to play one browser games about 4 years ago from china also and i think that sort of game back then might be beginning of all these stat building games...

        i was hard casher there since day 1 of game and had privilege to test dodge and hit there...
        this is how back there worked and was explained by 1 of game masters...

        DODGE RATING / DODGE %
        10K dodge / 10% dodge and this works only till 50k dodge / 50% dodge, after that goes 60k dodge / 55% dodge so after 50k dodge every 10k becomes 5% until 100k dodge then 10k becomes 1%

        HIT RATING / HIT%
        10K hit /10% hit and this works till 50k hit / 50%, after that goes 60k hit / 58% hit so after 50k hit every 10k becomes 8% until 120k hit then 10k becomes 2%

        i am not sure if this works exactly like this but i have seen many times ppl with less hit hitting ppl with more dodge so i presume it works similar to values from that other game

        also lets say you have 50% to dodge and he has 50% hit that is like 50k hit vs 50k dodge these 2 numbers don\'t erase each other... you have only 50% chance to dodge and he has still only 50% chance to hit... but lets say 40k hit vs 50k dodge you have he has now only 40% chance to hit you and you have 50% chance to dodge him... values are determined by each character separately and then higher value wins to go in final pool to be rolled out of number between 1 and 2 aka dodge or not dodge or hit or not hit.
        but lets look at high difference lets say 60k dodge and 30k hit he has 55% chance to dodge and you have 30% to hit... sounds only slight chance 55% you think it is only once in 2 turns... it is more of you hitting once in about 10 hits against his 55% chance with your 30% chance...

        The most IMPORTANT point of all this is your dodge does not reduce enemy HIT CHANCE it gives you chance to DODGE attack... and does not work as countering like if i have 50k hit i counter 50k dodge... this dodge topics are very complicated to explain because ppl think that hit counters dodge and vice versus but fact is each stat is calculated diferently and rolled into calculation when you are fighting...
