[Forum Event] Seek the Magic! - Seek for LOA Memories

i started playing LOA 5 years ago , when i started to play this game thre is 20 active ppl with a huge BR and strong enough . As beginner i had difficult time to join any guild , coz im too weak for them , but i tried to make friends and conviences him , i can active in game so he accepted me as member in his guild. This is the first time i had new friends in this guild . Im happy coz they can accepted me and teach me to be stronger . This is happy moments that i can talked and read other player trick and how to win in event and saving resources to win tycoon . In that day , new heroes like earthshaker , hecate , etc showed with high amount of diamonds and eed a lot of recharges . As a new ppl , i was sad coz i cant had them , and saw other ppl had them made me really want to leave this game coz i cant afford bought them and made them in my party . But some of ppl said to be patient to play this game , they said that we must patientce and built the heroes we had step by step.I had joined LOA groups in facebook and saw other ppl experiences in forum so i had lot of experiences about the game without happened the problems like other . Now i am happy , i can had lot of good heroes like Genesis , Lord Skyscream and etc without any recharges and be rank 1 in COM and rank 9 in CS Com with lot of patience and tears to achieve that point . There will be my memories about playing LOA till now , and happy to play till im old . Love u LOA and happy 6th annivrsary

I started playing this game in 2014. Then I continued playing this for few months and I  had to stay away from the Loa due to personal reasons. Then I came back in game from 2017. This game always attracted me. I am playing last 3 years continuously. During my playing I made many friends and shared a lot of happy moments from Loa. Desiboy, Steve, Jonathan, Kate, john are some of the names I can mention here. Some of these players are also connected with me via Facebook. I am sharing some of the pictures I took screenshot from previous years.

the beginning...
i started playing LoA pretty late in the 2nd year (around sept/oct 2015 iirc), don't have the 1st anniversary memorabilia
i've played many games similar to LoA before so gameplay is nothing new, didn't expect much at that time, i just thought "well let's give this one a try.."
to my surprise, i found LoA is one of the most free-player friendly which is the only reason i still playing this game despite all the bugs and the game itself going south lol
in most other games u need to recharge to become a vip but here u can reach vip lv.10 simply from using free diamonds, and although LoA is pretty much a p2w game, free players can still compete to certain extent (winning ss tycoon i.e) if only u know how-to do that

back then...
things were great
surprising hot events, one that i hope will make a comeback is the "Great Funding" where u can get tens of thousand free diamonds simply by "investing" your diamonds, but not gonna happen these days lol
pretty fast handling and good compensation for bugs-related problems, still remember i got my very first two capsule's golden tickets from compensation for pointing out the double-reward bug, *nice for a free player like me
more variety of events during tycoon which was good since u can put to good use of all those savings of events' currencies

6 years LoA...
unfortunately as days/years go by, the game is becoming more and more of a grindfest, dull and boring
imo, it all started when the original dev team "abandoned" this game and a new team took over
everything is pretty much predictable now, same events' cycle, hardly any surprises these days
slow bug-fixes and handling, yeah just got my missing GTA weekly reward yesterday, the one even i don't remember when i reported it but it happened. mods say 2 months backlog on bugs reports and handling.. seriously??? wonder what is this new dev doing daily
slow game's improvements, heard people talking about chinese servers back in those days, russian servers nowadays where we can get a glimpse of the future with new things beyond GTA's servers
but here in GTA's servers we are stuck with the same thing for ages.. again, what is this new dev doing daily

I cant remember when I first started to play LoA.
But what I remember very well is, that I played on a Server of r2games.
That wasnt fine. Bugs over bugs and all ingame items where very expensive.
That was not really funny but the game itself was good.

After weeks of playing I first hear from the GTArcade server. I tried my first character there and I like it very well.
So i talked with some Players from the old server and we changed to GTArcade.
Unfortunately, the other players were playing on English servers as too strenuous and left GTArcae again.

But Im staying here abd the best ingame Friends I found on the first server i played on. Maybe thats because I was a really bad gamer  

After some month of gaming, the nice people has left the game in the meantime, I start a new char on a new server. This one was a Little bit better than the first.
Then I leave the game and after a short time I come back on a new server and getting a Little bit better.

Seek the Magic
- I like that title, but I feel that the magic has faded slowly away, year after year.
Having played for 6 years, I've many times wondered why many of us originals are still here.  Especially for us that are free players, it's not a new angel, hero, mount, or costume that allures us, but rather it's the memories, friendships, and rivalries that we've forged along the way.  And we hate to give those up.

Let us think back to the furious competition of a brand new server and trying to beat Dark Abyss for the first time, or the PvP in CS Transport as we mined materials and tried to make it back to base before being obliterated.  When Infinite Rage loop made you unstoppable, until you found that your opponent had insane dodge and you couldn't hit them.  Or do you remember when everyone was trying to get Cerebus, or the first time you obtained the Rusty fairy, or you couldn't wait until you could get Berserker Claw because he could wipe everyone out!

Better yet, can you remember back when you couldn't get enough Warsouls, or gold was SO hard to come by you had to sell armor shards!!

When I think back, and some of you can share in this as well, I am saddened at the state this game we love has fallen into.  A series of routine tasks, completed mindlessly, without thought because we've done them daily for 6 years.  Having spawned 2 other spinoffs, it's obvious the developers have put LOA on lifesupport.  A new hero here or there, a new evolve, or new homestead prints to keep the money rolling in, but in terms of the game we love, that has faded into memory.  Even the events around holidays have become carbon copies, with the rewards still being low level trinket gems many times.  Do we really need lvl 10 fuse stones?   

I will play to the day it's unplugged, but only because of the connections I share, and the hope, that things might change for the better.  Unfortunately, bugs don't get fixed, events get copied to the next month, and players realize time is precious and there are more important things to do than wait for the lag to clear up.

Seek the magic- perhaps we'll find it again.  Hats off to the mods for doing events here on the forum and on Facebook.  I for one appreciate at least something new

As a final suggestion, do something to reward people for their loyalty.  Tie it to year they created, or have people login for 7 days in a row, or something, but the occassional free GOOD item would go a long way in making people stay.

I started playing LoA around August 2014.. I probably played for 5 months till Dec 2014 and quit the game as I became busy with studies and it was too competitive to play without spending money (yes, I havent spent a cent on this game till date)..

In the meanwhile, I was playing other games intermittently but was not happy with any of them because in most games you lose whatever you hoarde (when a casher attacks your base etc) and I quit playing games altogether..then once,I became less busy with studies, LoA came to my mind and I realized it was different from these other games...I started playing LoA again from Jan 2016 from where I had left off earlier in Dec 2014 (800K BR)... I have been sort of regularly playing and now I am 650M BR ..lately, I have automated most tasks in the game since it is boring to keep clicking same this daily..lol..it has become like a daily routine now....I have tried to quit the game so many times..but ended up coming back to play..which I cant believe...what is the magic behind this??

I guess I still play LoA is not because of the friends I made in my server....but because of the rivals in my server...My rival has 3 alt accounts and plays all 3 accounts regularly...and gives a tough fight in all events..this has been going since 2016..lol...and SS Tycoon is one of the best times to play LoA...rest of month is sort of boring to play..The server is dying..the game is almost dead...but it is still a good game..wish devs somehow merged all LoA and put all players in the most recent version of LoA..

Hi, I m playing this game from quite long time.There are many good memories and bad memories too. I met very awesome people in game.

Happiest memory is the day when I met one special friend from server.let me share one story of my and my bestest friend in game.how we become friend. Actually one day we were talking in world chat about people joining new server.since at that our server had so many cashers so it was not easy to win any rewards.i just said in chat "casher will be everywhere we can't run away from them,we have to face them sooner or later".
After that I said "ok I m also changing changing.(I was just kidding though)".then she laughed like crazy and we started talking to each other.thay was the day when we become friend.Its sad she don't play much nowadays but I m happy I met such lovely friend". She always helped me whenever I needed to win tycoon to build party.
I literally appreciate her.

(I know I m not good in story telling and sorry I can't mention her name )


Now regarding current game ,
To be honest , it was good game now it's becoming boring nothing surprise at all every day of every month is same. Love to see something which will be surprised for us.we can just hope for that (I know that's not gonna happen ).

I have played LoA since September 2015. It was supposed to be a time filler, a game that I would only play for a short while. However, as I spent more time in the game, I befriended a few people on my server. We helped each other grow in the game and in real life. Age differences have never been an issue. It was hard to say goodbye to them when cancer took them away. But that's what life is. When there's a meeting there'll be a goodbye. So even though the current devs don't do much to improve LoA, I stick around simply because of the friends I made on my server. Without them, I'd be long gone from LoA. IGN: Rinchen. I've been playing LoA for 5 years and stick with only 1 server. I work a lot and cannot play much, but I manage to score at least 650 devotion points every day. I see my characters grow and I make several friends along the way. The most fun thing to do is to beat each other up in Clash of Might. The friendly competition helps make us get stronger.
